1、案例12教案特點:在英語教學(xué)中關(guān)注學(xué)生的情感教育。(見標(biāo)有* 環(huán)節(jié)) 教學(xué)內(nèi)容:結(jié)合本單元課文題目A Man Who Never Gave Up,選取了一篇適合本年級學(xué)生閱讀的篇目“希望馬拉松”。 教學(xué)目標(biāo):知識目標(biāo):通過閱讀擴(kuò)展篇目,理解動詞不定式和本單元重點單詞和詞組,為學(xué)生靈活運用語法及詞匯知識打下基礎(chǔ)。情感目標(biāo):通過閱讀并結(jié)合文章內(nèi)容與學(xué)生討論學(xué)習(xí)??怂箞猿植恍傅木瘢康氖谴偈箤W(xué)生將這種精神潛移默化的發(fā)展到自我的學(xué)習(xí)與工作,遇到困難不氣餒。教學(xué)步驟:Step 1. Leading in (導(dǎo)入)Students look at two pictures of marathon. (將

2、兩張馬拉松賽跑的圖片放映給學(xué)生看)Ask the students what the word “marathon” means and talk about it.(向?qū)W生提問:“marathon”是什么意思?并討論。)Ask them whether they have heard of Marathon of Hope.(問學(xué)生是否聽說過希望馬拉松)Step 2. Reading (邊閱讀邊填空)A. Students do the blank fill-in first to complete the passage, and then answer the questions bel

3、ow. (Play the song “I believe I can fly as background music” while they are doing the exercise.)1. Who is Terry?2. What happened to him when he was 18?3. What did he decide to do after he got the cancer?4. Did his dream come true?5. What do the people do now to remember him?環(huán)節(jié)點評:為了創(chuàng)設(shè)寬松愉悅的學(xué)習(xí)氛圍,老師在這個環(huán)

4、節(jié)中設(shè)置了邊做練習(xí)邊放音樂的環(huán)節(jié),同時播放的歌曲又為后面學(xué)習(xí)這首歌做了鋪墊。在選擇歌曲時老師并不是隨意地選曲,而是根據(jù)課文內(nèi)容選擇了礪志方面的歌曲。 BStudents share their answers with their friends and then check with the whole class. 5、then report to the whole class. 環(huán)節(jié)點評:為了對學(xué)生進(jìn)行意志品質(zhì)教育,閱讀完成后,老師不僅僅將練習(xí)停留在內(nèi)容理解上,而是進(jìn)一步將內(nèi)容升華,使學(xué)生領(lǐng)悟到兩位名人之所以能夠成名,在于他們具備共同的品質(zhì),即:在困難面前不低頭。Step 3. Listening and learning the song(聽并學(xué)唱歌)A. Ask the student whether they have heard the song “I believe I can fly” before, and let them listen to it for another time. Th

6、ey have to fill in the blanks with the lyrics of the song while listening. (要求學(xué)生邊聽歌曲邊填詞)BLearn to sing the song. And ask them which words moved them a lot.(學(xué)唱歌曲,并問學(xué)生哪句歌詞最能打動他們。)*(從情感角度進(jìn)行個性化學(xué)習(xí)。)環(huán)節(jié)點評:學(xué)唱英文歌曲是英文老師課堂上經(jīng)常運用的手段,在這個環(huán)節(jié)中,為了使學(xué)生在聽歌曲的同時在語言學(xué)習(xí)方面也有所收獲,老師將部分歌詞空出來,要求學(xué)生邊聽邊填空。老師的教學(xué)并未到此為止,而是要求學(xué)生對歌詞內(nèi)容進(jìn)行討論

7、,這個環(huán)節(jié)與整個課堂的主題是相吻合的。Step 4 Writing(寫作)AAsk the students what they have learnt from the persons above, and ask them that if they have some difficulties in their life, what they will do. When they feel sad or disappointed they can listen to it and sing with it to make himself be the man who never gives up.附件:Marathon of HopeTerry Fox was only 18 years old when he was diagnosed with osteogenic sarcoma (bone cancer) and had his right leg amputated six inches above the knee.Wh

10、ile in the hospital, Terry was so overcome by the hurt of cancer patients that he decided to run across Canada to raise money or goods for cancer research. With the hope of letting his great dream come true and drawing worldwide attention to the cancer research, Terry Fox began his journey on April

11、12, 1980 on Canadas East Coast with the help of his artificial limb. He ran 42 kms a day through Atlantic Canada. On Sep 1st 1980, after 143 days and 5373kms, Terry had to stop his run because his illness became worse and worse.The many difficulties that Terry had along the way were overcome with th

12、e warmth and encouragement brought by millions of the people of Canada. Canadians all across the nation were moved by Terrys courage and strong mind to fight cancer.Terrys dream and spirit also spread to every corner of the world. It attracts large numbers of people to take part in this movement eve

13、ry year.in1999, the Cancer Institute and the Hospital of CAMS, together with the Canadian Embassy organized the 1st Beijing Terry Fox Run. This event made the spirit of Fox be known by the Chinese. More and more Chinese are not only moved by his fight against the cancer, but also his spirit of never

14、 giving up. Terry Fox Run has collected a lot of money for the cancer research for the Chinese patients. The run will go on every year and the encouragement of Foxs spirit will continue.
