Today I am going to talk about Section A in Unit 9 Have you ever been to a museum?, My presentation consists of eights parts: analysis of the t

2、eaching material, teaching keys and difficulties, teaching aims ,analysis of the students, teaching methods, studying ways, teaching procedures and teaching reflections.Part1. Analysis of the teaching materiali)Status and functionThis unit is aiming at talking about the Perfect Tense with the patter

3、ns of Have ever been toIJ? ve never been to The .main task for ss is to talk about past experiences to some places. Even though ss have learned the present perfect tense in last unit, they may still feel hard to talk about what fun places they have ever been to and what they think of these places. T

4、hus, enough practice will be organized to help ss learn some museums, theme parks and the present perfect tense with been, ever and never.1. Knowledge Objectsii) Teaching aims and demandsIn this lesson, Ss should master the new words: amuseumt park, somewhere, camera and invention. At the same time,

5、 they should know how to use this sentence “H ave you e ver been to ?” and know how to answer it.2. Ability ObjectsIn this lesson, I lml ainly train the Ss listening and speaki ng abilities and develop the Ss abilities of communication by learning the useful structures.3. Moral ObjectsBy talking abo

6、ut the places students have been to, their love to rivers and mountains of our nation will be greatly increased.Part2. Teaching keys and difficultiesAccording to the teaching aims, I think the focus of this l esson is the new expressions and help the Ss to communic ate with each other. The difficult

7、y is to help the Ss make conversations freely using the target language.Part3. Teaching aidsA tape recorder and A computer for multimedia usePart4.Analysis of the studentsThe Ss have learned English for one and a half years, they can express their thought and communicate with eac h other with Englis

8、h well. And all the Ss will be intereste d in the topic about their past experience, which is related to their real life. It ' helpful for our study of this lesso n.Part5.Teaching methodsIn this lesson, I' llmainly use the “taslbased “teaching me thod, and it will be used in the whole lesson

9、. I think it ' s helpful to develop the Ss' thought. I ' lalso use a situation communicating "method. It can provide enough listening and speaking situations for Ss. I think good teaching methods are the keys to success.Part6 studying waysIn order to guide the Ss better, develop the

10、 Ss' abilities, i n this lesson, the Ss will learn how to be a good language learner, and how to communicate with others. It will be v ery helpful for their learning in the future. I think goodstudying ways can help the Ss to be good language learn ers.Part7 Teaching proceduresStep 1 , Leading i

11、nThe teacher and the students watch a period of a video and enjoy the English song. Then ask and answer some questions between the teacher and the students.T: Do you think it fun? What are they doing? Do you like traveling?Ok, today we goreing to talk about some interesting places we have been to or

It s so beautiful, isnPurpose of my designing: I think it is important to form a better English learning surrounding for the Ss and at the same time it is

13、necessary to provide situations to review learned knowledge.Step 2 PresentationPresenting some pictures of amusement park, zoo, space museum, history museum art museum and water park.Then, I ll provide some background information. After that, they will rank these places in 1a from their most favorit

14、e to the least favorite.Next, I ll ask ss questions like:Have you ever been to a/an?Yes, I have. / Me, too. / So have I.No, I haven t. /Me, either. / Neither have I.Purpose of my designing: This part is very important. I think it is much easier for the Ss to learn if I present the key structures one

15、 by one and they can master the structures quickly by doing this.Step 3 PracticeStudents look at the pictures and make similar dialogues in pairs.A: Have you (ever) been to a/an?B: Yes, I have. What about you?A: Me, too. / So have I.Purpose of my designing: This step is employed to make theSs get th

16、e general idea of the dialogue as a whole one. At the same time let the Ss have a chance to practice their listening and spoken ability.Step 4 Listening practiceT: Look at the picture. We can see two girls. They are Claudia and Sarah. What do you think they are talking about? Let s listen and find o

17、ut where they have been. (Then check the answer together)Purpose of my designing: It gives Ss practice in understanding the target language in spoken conversations.Step5. PairworkShow some photos of the students, and ask them some questions.Then make the students work in pairs.Purpose of my designin

18、g: Task-based teaching method is used here to develop Ss ability of communication and also their ability of co-operation will be well trained.Step6. GameDriving a TrainAsk each student to say one place he/she has visited before, using the structure: I have been to " to report it. Then next stud

19、ent repeat what he/she has heard and report the information about himself.Eg: A:I have been to a history museum.B: A has been to a history museum. I have been to a science museum.C: A has been to a history museum. B has been to a science museum. I have been to Purpose of my designing: Playing games

20、can raise their interests in learning target language.
