He has short curly brown hair.二、語(yǔ)言技能:繼續(xù)讓學(xué)生學(xué)會(huì)從其他角度描述人物外貌,如:頭發(fā)、臉型、五官、眼鏡、職業(yè)等;同時(shí)通過(guò)聽(tīng)說(shuō)活動(dòng),進(jìn)一步鞏固描述人物外貌特征的形容詞、短語(yǔ)及句型結(jié)構(gòu)。三、學(xué)習(xí)
2、策略:通過(guò)看圖畫能盡可能完整的描述人的外貌;通過(guò)聽(tīng)力活動(dòng),能夠根據(jù)所聽(tīng)內(nèi)容中人物的外貌描述推斷出正確的形象。四、情感態(tài)度: 通過(guò)描述同學(xué)、自己、偶像的外貌,簡(jiǎn)單地表達(dá)自己的觀點(diǎn)或好惡,學(xué)會(huì)交換不同的看法,使學(xué)生在人際交往中學(xué)會(huì)尊重和理解別人。并培養(yǎng)正確的審美觀。五、文化意識(shí):在英美等西方國(guó)家,fat作為形容詞,描述人時(shí)意義趨于消極,往往使用一些意義中性的詞heavy或委婉的詞語(yǔ)heavy-set等。描述某人很瘦,常用slim顯得更為禮貌。描述男人用handsome , 描述女人用beautiful , pretty 。通過(guò)描述不同人的外貌,對(duì)學(xué)生進(jìn)行不同文化意識(shí)的滲透。【設(shè)計(jì)意圖】目標(biāo)引領(lǐng),表

29、自己在這一單元中所學(xué)的有關(guān)描述人的形容詞,并把這些形容詞合理地安排在自己所喜愛(ài)的歌手或運(yùn)動(dòng)員身上,然后上講臺(tái)用一體機(jī)展示自己的杰作并向同學(xué)描述他最喜愛(ài)的人物形象。其他同學(xué)認(rèn)真聽(tīng),也可以提出問(wèn)題。老師給學(xué)生提供了表達(dá)與展示自己的機(jī)會(huì),他們能上講臺(tái)演講而感到自豪,能夠受到同學(xué)們的鼓掌歡迎而興奮,同時(shí)也能夠得到臺(tái)下同學(xué)們的指點(diǎn)和幫助,從而達(dá)到了培養(yǎng)學(xué)生綜合運(yùn)用英語(yǔ)的能力。不足之處:1.Have a competition環(huán)節(jié),雖然學(xué)生能夠站起來(lái)大膽描述,為給自己的小組爭(zhēng)分而搶先別人站起來(lái),課堂氣氛非?;钴S,但大都是中上等學(xué)生參與,其他學(xué)生得不到有效練習(xí)。Play a guessing game這個(gè)環(huán)
30、節(jié),雖然學(xué)生的參與度很高,練習(xí)的也比較充分,但由于學(xué)生的身高、體型、以及發(fā)型比較相似,所以猜測(cè)起來(lái)有一定的難度,課堂秩序有點(diǎn)混亂。2.學(xué)生繪制思維導(dǎo)圖并上臺(tái)描述,用的時(shí)間過(guò)長(zhǎng),導(dǎo)致后面的當(dāng)堂達(dá)標(biāo)時(shí)間倉(cāng)促。改進(jìn)建議:1. Have a competition環(huán)節(jié),首先老師提出要求:如果學(xué)生語(yǔ)言能力較強(qiáng),就讓他們對(duì)人物進(jìn)行更細(xì)致的描述,如果學(xué)生語(yǔ)言能力較弱,只需要求他們說(shuō)出一個(gè)或兩個(gè)句子來(lái)描述人物特征即可。這樣就盡可能地讓絕大多數(shù)同學(xué)參與了。Play a guessing game環(huán)節(jié),要求學(xué)生在描述的過(guò)程中要抓住被描述人的典型特征,特征不明顯的,也可以從其喜好方面進(jìn)行描述。同時(shí)要強(qiáng)調(diào)游戲規(guī)則。2. 學(xué)生繪制思維導(dǎo)圖并描述,老師可讓兩位同學(xué)展示其繪圖來(lái)描述,為了保證同學(xué)們的充分練習(xí),可把這一項(xiàng)放在課后由小組長(zhǎng)監(jiān)督完成。答案:1.
