steal與robsteal指暗中竊取別人的東西,其賓語(yǔ)是物,不是被盜者本人。rob意為“搶劫”,其賓語(yǔ)為人、公司、銀行等,而不是被搶的東西。Chang’erefusedtogiveittohimandtookitall.(教材P11)refusev.
“拒絕”,反義詞為accept,
意為“接受”。e.g.Herefusedmyinvitation.
