2.2Step-by-StepInstallation

2.2.1FencePostInstallation

Non-conductiveposts(e.g.,fiberglass):Securetothebase(e.g.,concretefoundation)withexpansionbolts.Ensureverticalityanduniformspacing(typically2–5meters,adjustedbysiteconditions).

2.2.2ConductorWireLayout

Unrolltheconductorwirealongthepostline.Maintainaconsistentverticalspacingbetweenwires(usually15–20cmforthefirstlayerfromtheground,withequalintervalsforupperlayers).

Atcorners/curves,usecornerinsulatorstoguidethewire,ensuringsmoothbending(noexcessivetension/slack).

2.2.3InsulatorInstallation

Attachinsulatorstofenceposts(atpre-markedheights)tosupportandinsulatetheconductorwire.Ensureatightfitbetweentheinsulatorandthepost,andseatthewireintheinsulator’sgroove(topreventslippage).

2.2.4PulseHostInstallation

Mountthepulsehostonawallordedicatedbracket,1.5–2metersabovetheground(toavoidwatersplashingandunauthorizedaccess).Ensurethehostislevelandwell-ventilated.

Connectconductorwirestothehost’soutputterminals(followpolarity/loop-in/loop-outinstructionsintheusermanual).

2.2.5GroundingSystemInstallation

Drivethegroundingelectrodeintotheground(depth≥2.5meters,preferablyinamoistsoilarea).Connectthegroundingwiretotheelectrodeandthepulsehost’sgroundingterminal.Ensuregroundingresistanceis≤10ohms(testwithaninsulationtester).

2.2.6SystemDebugging

Poweronthepulsehostandcheckvoltageoutput(withinthemanufacturer’sspecifiedrange).

Triggerthefence(e.g.,touchthewirewithaninsulatedtool)toverifythealarmfunction(audible/visualalarm,remotenotificationifapplicable).

RainySeason:Inspectthegroundingsystemforwaterlogging-inducedresistanceincrease.Checkthepulsehost’swaterproofseals.

Winter:Removeice/snowfromthefence(topreventwirebreakage).Ensurethehost’spowersupplyfunctionsnormallyinlow-temperatureconditions.

StormyWeather:Afterstorms,checkforpostdisplacement,wirebreakage,andinsulatordamage.

4.Troubleshooting

4.1AbnormalAlarm(AlarmTriggersWithoutIntrusion)

PossibleCauses:Loosewireconnections,damagedinsulators,electromagneticinterference,orincorrectsensitivitysettings.

Solutions:Re-tightenconnections,replacedamagedinsulators,re-routewiresawayfrominterferencesources,oradjustsensitivity.

4.2NoVoltageOutput

PossibleCauses:Powerfailure,faultypulsehost,brokengroundingwire,orshort-circuitinconductorwires.

Solutions:Checkthepowersupply,replacethehost(iffaulty),repairthegroundingwire,orlocateandfixtheshort-circuit.

4.3FalseAlarm(NoAlarmonIntrusion)

PossibleCauses:Lowvoltageoutput,damagedconductorwire,orfaultyalarmsensor.
