1、1,現(xiàn)在分詞和動名詞 作定語及作表語的區(qū)別,2,一、怎樣區(qū)別作表語的現(xiàn)在分詞和動名詞,動名詞和現(xiàn)在分詞構成形式一樣(都是在動詞詞尾加ing),且均可在句中作表語.究竟是現(xiàn)在分詞還是動名詞在句中作表語呢?下面介紹幾種辨別的方法.,3,二、用試加法區(qū)別作定語的現(xiàn)在分詞和動名詞,三、高頻考題,一、怎樣區(qū)別作表語的現(xiàn)在分詞和動名詞,(一)倒置法,(二)加入法,(三)提問法,4,(一)倒置法,將句中的主語和表語位置互換,謂語不動,若新組成的句子與原句意思相符,句中v+ing形式就是動名詞.否則,就是現(xiàn)在分詞.例如:,5,例1. His job is teaching English . 他的工作是教英語
2、,互換位置后成為:,Teaching English is his job. 教英語是他的工作.,注:互換位置后句子通順,意思相符.故例中的teaching是動名詞作表語.,6,例2. His job is interesting.他的工作有趣.,互換位置后成為:,Interesting is his job.,注:互換后句子意思不成立,與原句意思更不相符.故例句中的interesting應為現(xiàn)在分詞.,7,(二)加入法,在表語前加上副詞very,so或more,most等.句子通順,意思明確者,為現(xiàn)在分詞.否則,為動名詞.如:,例1. My job is interesting.,My jo
3、b is very interesting.,注:句子成立,故interesting為現(xiàn)在分詞.,例2. My job is teaching English.,My job is very (so) teaching English.,注:句子不成立,故teaching是動名詞作表語.,8,同理,我們還可以在表語后加個能作賓語的詞,若句子成立應為動名詞,否則,為現(xiàn)在分詞.如:,例1. My job is teaching English.,My job is teaching you English.,注:句子成立,teaching為動名詞.,例2. My job is interestin
4、g.,My job is interesting you.,注:加you后的句子不成立,故句中的interesting為現(xiàn)在分詞.,9,(三)提問法,能用how對表語提問的是現(xiàn)在分詞,反之是動名詞;能用what對表語提問的是動名詞,反之,為現(xiàn)在分詞.如:,例1. My job is interesting.,How is your job?,注:用how提問,句意通順,故表語是現(xiàn)在分詞.,例2. My job is teaching English.,What is your job?,注:用what對表語提問,句意通順,故表語是動名詞.,10,二、用試加法區(qū)別作定語的現(xiàn)在分詞和動名詞,試加法
5、是用for帶入原含有v+ing形式的詞組中,意思通順者 ,v+ing形式為動名詞.例如:,a car for sleeping,a dancing hall,a hall for dancing,注:兩句均通順,合乎邏輯,所以sleeping和dancing均為動名詞. 又如:,a sleeping boy,a boy for sleeping,boy 供睡覺,顯然意思不通順,因而sleeping在此處便是現(xiàn)在分詞了.,a sleeping car,(car是供睡覺的),(hall是供跳舞的),11,這樣的定語還可以用試加轉換定語從句法加以驗證.一般說來,能轉換成合理的定語從句的,v+ing即
