1、語(yǔ)法小知識(shí)點(diǎn)：whether和if的區(qū)別,（1）互換的場(chǎng)合 1.引導(dǎo)賓語(yǔ)從句表示“是否”時(shí), 兩者?？苫Q。如： He asked if whether we wanted a drink. 他問(wèn)我們是否想喝一杯。 He didnt tell me if whether he would come. 他沒(méi)有告訴我他是否會(huì)來(lái)。 注：若是引導(dǎo)條件狀語(yǔ)從句，則只能用 if (意為“如果”)。 2. 如果or not放在whether所引導(dǎo)的從句句尾，則可以用if來(lái)替換。 I dont know whether/if he will come or not. 我不知道他是不是回來(lái)。 注意：or not

2、放在whether之后時(shí)，只能用whether不用if。 I dont know whether or not he will come. 我不知道他是不是回來(lái)。,（2）. 通常用 if 的場(chǎng)合 當(dāng)引導(dǎo)一個(gè)否定的賓語(yǔ)從句時(shí)，通常用 if 而不用 whether。如： I dont care if it doesnt rain. 我不在乎天是否下雨。 注：在個(gè)別詞語(yǔ) (如 wonder, not sure 等)后的從句否定式有時(shí)也可能用 whether 來(lái)引導(dǎo)。如： I wonder if whether he isnt mistaken. 我想知道他是否錯(cuò)了。,（3）. 通常用 whether

3、 的場(chǎng)合,一. 在引導(dǎo)主語(yǔ)從句、表語(yǔ)從句、同位語(yǔ)從句時(shí)一般用whether。如： Whether it is true remains a question. (主語(yǔ)從句)那是不是真的還是個(gè)問(wèn)題。 The question is whether it is true. (表語(yǔ)從句)問(wèn)題是是不是真的。 We have a doubt whether it is true. (同位語(yǔ)從句) 我們懷疑那是不是真的。 注:whether引導(dǎo)主語(yǔ)從句放在主句之后時(shí)可用if來(lái)代替。 It is unclear whether/if he likes the present.他是不是喜歡那個(gè)禮物還不清楚。,
