1、Unit 7 How much are these pants?.Programmes for the Unit1.Status and FunctionThe topic of this unit is shopping.In this unit,students learn to ask about prices,talk about clothing and thank someone.In fact,students are not very familiar to buying clothing.But they are interested in such topic.So the

2、y will benefit a lot after learning this unit.(1)All the activities in the first period are designed to introduce the key vocabulary:names of items of clothing;and the target:language how much questions by listening and oral practice.(2)In the second period,students learn names of colors first.And t

3、hen students go on practising asking about prices.Through listening and oral practice,students know that“is”is used with singular nouns and“are”is used with pural nouns and demonstratives this,that,these and those.All the activities are helpful to improve students listening and speaking skills.(3)In

4、 the third period,students learn more target languages on shopping,such as Can I help you?What color do you want?Ill take it and so forth and learn to thank someone.(4)Students learn cardinal numbers 10-31 in the vocabulary extension activity in the fourth period.In the culture note,students know th

5、at different numbers are popular with different cultures.So when learning a foreign language,its better for you to know some culture of the country.(5)All the activities provide reading and writing practice using the target language in the fifth period.In the writing activity,students learn to write
