1、Unit 5 Why do you like pandas?【Teaching and learning Goals】:In this lesson, students will learn to use some description words, such as friendly, shy, smart, beautiful , scary, lazy etc. to describe animals. By listening and talking about animals, students can understand others preferences on animals

2、 and express theirs easily. Students should also know “Animals are our friends” after this lesson.【Teaching and learning steps】:Step I. Pre-listening activities1.Preview(1) A video about animalsT: In the last two classes weve learned many animals.Now lets see a video about animals. Please record as

3、many animals as you can. Lets see who can write the most correct words.(Animals: panda, tiger, elephant, koala, lion, giraffe, cat, dog, pig, dolphin, bear, fish, bird, horse, cow, deer, camel, snake) (2)Translate the following words or sentences into English.(a)友好的(b)羞怯的,靦腆的 (c)你喜歡什么動物?(d)我喜歡狗因為他們友

Some of them are from the northeastern part of China. Their numbers are descreasing now. They are in danger and

Before-listening activitiesThe teacher shows the pictures of animals and leads students
