2、s by using the target sentence “Whats for your breakfast/ lunch/ dinner? And they can develop their communicative ability.Emotional aim:(1).Ss can cultivate good eating habit.Key point and difficult pointSs can master the key words and the target sentence structure.And Ss will find it difficult to c
3、ompletely participate in communicative activities by using the target sentence. Teaching method The communicative methodTeaching aidsMulti- media computer,pictures.Teaching procedureStep1: Lead-in I will show Ss a video (Alphabet train, food train) and Ss should answer a question :“ Whats the video
4、about?”.I will guide Ss to review some words about food.( rice, apple, vegetables, chicken, hamburger, and so on.)Step2: PresentationI will teach tomato and tomatoes. After that I will guide Ss to practice these two words by using “magic fingers”.(T writes them in blackboard.)The conversation would
5、be like this:T:Boys and girls, look, I have magic fingers,If I show you finger 1, you just sit down and say “tomato-tomatoes”. If I show you finger 2 you should stand up and say “tomato- tomatoes, tomato-tomatoes”. If I show you stone, you just lie on your desk.Get it?Ss: Yes.I will teach “potato- p
6、otatoes”.After that I will guide them to practice by “fast and slow speed.(T writes them in blackboard.)The conversation would be like this:T: Boys and girls, Lets play fast and slow speed. I say fast,you say slowly. I will teach “candy- candies”.(T writes them in blackboard.)I will teach noodles.Th
7、en I will guide Ss to practice by using high and low voice.(T writes them in blackboard.) Step3: PracticeI will guide Ss to read the words together.I will guide Ss to play “fast reaction” and “the fire balloon”. Ss will be more familiar with the new words.In this section, I will guide Ss to learn an
8、d practice the target sentences by saying: “ This morning, I have an egg and noodles for my breakfast. Whats for your breakfast?”After that I will ask the other students to answer “whats for your breakfast?”. And I use the same way to introduce “Whats for your lunch/ dinner?”.( I will write the sent
9、ences in the blackboard.)Group work. In this section I will guide Ss to make their conversation in group of two. After that I will invite some Ss to perform.Step4: Production 1.In this section, I will guide Ss to do a meal survey in group of 4. After that I will display one or two of their surveys t
10、o tell them: “ We should eat healthy. Eat more fruit and vegetables.”.
