Ifthereisnolove,therewillbenoeducationintheworld.Icaredtheirlifeaswellastheirstudy,especiallythestudentswhoarepooratstudy.Iregardedallmystudentsasmyfriendsandmychildren.
Somepeoplesaythatthejobofateacherisverycomfortable.Theyadmiretheteacherverymuch,becauseofhavingtwolongholidays,thewinterholidayandthesummerholiday.Idon’tthinkso.infact,teachingisnotaneasyjob.Itneedspatience,kindness,andperseverance.Inordertoeducatethestudentstobeusefulpersons,weboremuchpressurefromschool,parents,studentsandsociety.
Ifsomeoneasksme,“Ifyoucouldhaveanotherchancetochooseyourjobagain,whatkindofjobwouldyouchoose?”Iwillanswerhimwithoutanyhesitation:“Tobeateacher,themostgloriouscauseunderthesun.”Thisismychoicewithoutregret.Althoughwearelivingasimpleandpoorlife,butwearetherichestinspirit.Wesowtheseedsofspring;wearealsothemorningrayofsunshine…
Iamhappy.IamproudbecauseIamateacher.Ilovebeingateacher.howtobeagoodenglishteacherIhavebeenanEnglishteacherinmiddleschoolsforseveralyears,andIknowthatitisnoteasytobeagoodteacher,becauseagoodteacherisrequiredtohavemanyqualitiesasfollows.Firstly,agoodteachermusthaveagoodpersonalqualitysuchasbeingpatienttotoleratethestudentswhohavemadesomemistakes,showingenthusiasminclass,beinghumorous,havingaquickresponsetotheimmediateemergency,beingopen-minded,etc.Probably,theteacherswiththesepersonalqualitieswillattractstudentsandbelikedbythem.Secondly,agoodteachershouldhavetheteachingfaculty.Inordertohavethiscapability,ateachershouldacquireenoughknowledge.Ontheonehand,heshouldacquirethewideknowledgeofphilosophy,psychology,education(howtoteach),culture,history,geography,etc.Ontheotherhand,hemustmastermuchdeepertheoriesinhisresearchfield.Apartfromthisknowledge,anEnglishteachershouldpossessthenecessaryskillsoflistening,speaking,reading,writingandtranslating,amongwhichspeakingisofparamountimportance.Inaddition,agoodEnglishteachermayhavethemeanstoactivatehisclassandgivestudentstheopportunitiestopracticeEnglish.OnlyinthiswaystudentscanuseEnglishandimprovetheircommunicativecompetence.Thirdly,agoodteachershouldhavetheawarenessoflearning.Weareinaninformationage,andtheknowledgeischangingquickly.Ifateacherdoesn’tchargehimselffromtimetotime,histheorymaybeoutofdate,andhemaynotkeepthepacewithdevelopmentofoursociety.Atpresent,ateacherisrequirednotonlytoknowhowtoteach,butalsotodoresearchinhisfield.So,heshouldupdatehistheoryandknowthenewestoneintheworld.Finally,agoodteachershouldhavemoralquality,thatistosay,agoodteachershouldbeamodelandsetagoodexampletohisstudentsandothers.Agoodteacherwillbeagoodcitizen,forexample,complyingwiththelawsofourcountryandtherulesoftheschool,offeringseatsonthebus,helpingothers,andsoon.Foragoodteacherthemostimportantmoralistolovestudentsandtolovethecourseofteaching.Aslongashehastheinnateloveforhisprofession,hemayhasenormouszestforhisstudents,andbecomeanexcellentteacher.Withreferencetotheaboveaspects,manifestly,Iamnotagoodteacher.Butfortunately,Iamtryingmybesttoreachthegoal.WhatMakesaGoodTeacherNowadays,manypeoplehaveamisunderstandingthatbeingateacherisveryeasy,andsomeofthemeventhinkthatanyonecanbeagoodteacheriftheywant.Infact,teachingisnotsoeasyasmostpeoplethink,andagoodteacherrequiresmanymorequalitiesthantheordinarypeople.ItisclearthatwhetherapersonisabletobecomeagoodEnglishteacherdoesnotsolelydependonthecommandofthelanguage,asitisonlyoneaspectofthequalitiesagoodEnglishteachershouldhave.ThenwhatmakesagoodEnglishteacher?ThereareavarietyofelementsthatcontributetothequalitiesofagoodEnglishteacher,whichcanbecategorizedintothreeaspects:ethicdevotion,personalstyle,andmoreimportantly,theprofessionalqualities.ThesethreeaspectsconstitutetheprofessionalcompetenceofagoodEnglishteacher.Firstly,agoodteachershouldhaveethicdevotion.Theteachershouldbeamodelandsetagoodexampletohisstudentsbecausemoststudentswouldbeinfluencedbytheirteacher’sbehaviorunconsciously.Soagoodteachershouldhavehighmoralquality,andshouldshowtheirmoralqualitiesaswellastheirknowledge.Moreimportantly,theyshouldhelpstudentsformgoodmoralqualites.Ononehand,agoodteachershouldbegood-manneredandwelldressed;heshouldcomplywiththelawandbehavehimself;ontheotherhand,agoodteachershouldlovehisstudents.Tobespecific,agoodteachershouldbefairtotheirchildren,andtreatseverystudentequally,and“partiality”isforbidden;heshouldbepatient,andnevergiveupanystudent,eventhoughsomeofthethemarereallymischievousandindocile;heshouldbekind,andbereadytohelphisstudents;heshouldbeenthusiastictohisstudents,andhasafullpassionforhisteaching;heshouldbecaringforthestudents,sometimes,onlyacaringlook,atrustingencouragement,oramildsmilefromtheteacherisenoughtotouchthestudents’hearts.Weshouldrecognizethegreatvalueoftheteacherswhohaveethicdevotionduringthestudents’development.Secondly,agoodteachershouldhavepersonalstyles.Agoodteachermakeslearningnotadullthingbutagreatjoy.Manyteachersmaketheirteachingboringbecausetheyjustkeeptalkingaboutthetextbookallthetimeastheteachersusuallydidinthepast,justlikealoudspeaker,thenthestudentswouldfeeldifficulttofocustheirattentionsonwhattheteacheraresaying.Thenwefindit’simportanttoformadistinctpersonalstyleduringourteaching.Differentteachershouldhavedifferentstyles,andagoodteachershouldfindhisownpersonalstylewhichisdiffentfromtheothers.Forexample,wecanmakeourteachingdynamicbybodylanguages,ordemonstratingperformance;wecanmakeourteachingvividbyroleplays;wecanmakeourteachinginterestingbyexplainingitinahumorousway.It’simportanttofindourpersonalstyleswhenweareteaching.Lastbutnotleast,agoodteachershouldhaveprofessionalqualities.Agoodteachershouldhaveteachingfaculty,andshouldacquireenoughknowledge.Thatknowledgedoesn’tonlymeanourcommandofEnglish,butalsoourteachingskills,strategies,andabilities.Agoodteachershouldbereflective:heshouldkeeponreflectingonhisclassesandhismethodsofteaching,andinthiswayhecouldmakeprogressquickly;agoodteachershouldberesourceful,andhaveaquickresponsetotheemergency;agoodteachershouldbecreative:teachinacreativeway,andencouragehisstudentstobecreativeandopen-minded;agoodteachershouldmakehisteachingcolorful:hecantakeadvantageofdifferentkindsofmediums,suchusrecorder,pictures,videoandsoon.Inordertogettheprofessionalqualities,theteachersshouldalsoacquireawideknowledgeofphilosophypsychology,andeducation(howtoteach)besidestheprofessionalknowledgeinhisownfield.Afteracquiredtheseknowledge,theteachersneedtopracticeandgetexperienceaboutteaching,whichiscalledtheexperientialknowledge(others’orone’sown),andafteralongperiodofpracticeandreflection,theteacherwouldbeabletogainprofessionalqualities.Inaddition,agoodteachershouldbealife-longlearner,andmakesurethathekeepsimprovinghimselfinhisprofessionalfield;heshouldalwaystesthimselfbythefeedbackfromhisstudents,andreflectonhiswork.Asthesocietydevelopsatanamazingspeednow,thestudentstodayarequitedifferent:theyaremoreindependent,anddemandahigherstandardforteachers,whichisachallengeforus.Soweshouldtryourbesttoimproveourselves,andtrytobeasgoodateacheraswecan.TeachingEnglishmakesmeHappyGoodmorning,Everyone.Forastart,I’dliketomakeaself-introduction.mynameisYuCaiWei,anEnglishteacherfromLongFengHuprimaryschool.Mymottois“Nopainsnogains”.I’mveryhappytostandhere.Iwouldliketosharemyteachingexperiencewithyou.mytopicis“TeachingEnglishmakesmeHappy”IhavebeenteachingEnglishforthreeyears.IunderstandingdeeplythatItisdifficulttobecomeagoodEnglishteacher.Workingasateacher,thereisnothingspecialintheirlife.Butwehaveabeliefdeepwithin,thatis--wemustprotectourstudents,keepourchildrensafe,wewon’tletanyofthemgethurt.Tome,mystudentsarejustlikethewildflowers.Ifyouwanttoenjoyyourselfwhileteaching,respectandloveyourstudentsastheirfriends;workhardwithfullresponsibility.Thereisnodoubt,teachersareworthallrespect!Teachersareselfless!Theyimpartknowledgetothestudents,theyofferwaysandskillsoflearningtotheirstudents,andtheyoffertheirliveswithnohesitancywhennecessary!SoIamproudofbeingateacher.Ilikestudents,teachingwillbemylife-timecareer.

Ienjoymyjob,andIlovemylife.that'sall.Thankyouforlistening!上午好女士們先生們我非常榮幸站在這里,我珍惜這次和這么多優(yōu)秀老師一起分享教學(xué)經(jīng)驗(yàn)的機(jī)會(huì),說實(shí)話我還是有點(diǎn)緊張,我記得我的第一次演講還是在大學(xué)的時(shí)候,我甚至無法控制我的呼吸,因?yàn)槟菚r(shí)我不知道說些什么.今天,作為中信的一名多年的教師,我有種強(qiáng)烈的責(zé)任感,那使我充滿了力量和信心。從成為一名英語教師后,我認(rèn)為,想作為一名好的教師,你必須有非常好的專業(yè)知識(shí),你的人格和你的知識(shí)一樣重要,一名好的英語教師必須非常熱情,你必須愛你的學(xué)生和尊重他們,同時(shí)你也必須尊重你自己,并且以你的工作為自豪。一名好的老師他必須善良,勇敢,并且樂于幫助孩子,你要讓你的孩子有一份內(nèi)驅(qū)力,讓他們主動(dòng)去學(xué)習(xí),而不是被動(dòng)去學(xué)。我給大家講個(gè)真實(shí)的故事,去年我們班來了一個(gè)男孩,他的名字叫-劉磊,他看上去是那樣的沉默寡言,沒有同齡孩子的活潑與開朗,在上課的時(shí)候不敢大聲的回答問題,當(dāng)我讓他到前面做對(duì)話的時(shí)候他甚至都大哭了一場,連看大家一眼都不敢,聲音低的就像在說耳語一樣,我深知這是他對(duì)自己沒有信心并且缺乏必要的鼓勵(lì)所造成的。所以,后來我每次上課都給他表現(xiàn)的機(jī)會(huì),并且每次我都鼓勵(lì)他說:Jake你這次比上次有進(jìn)步, 同時(shí)我也讓全班的同學(xué)一起為他鼓掌,我也告訴他的媽媽在家也多鼓勵(lì)孩子,只要看到他的進(jìn)步就表揚(yáng)他,一天一天的過去了,我驚喜的發(fā)現(xiàn)孩子真的進(jìn)步了,現(xiàn)在他能主動(dòng)舉手回答問題,主動(dòng)的參與游戲,成績也有了很大的提高。他媽媽很高興的告訴我他的孩子有進(jìn)步了,每次從中信放學(xué)后總是喋喋不休的跟她說他學(xué)到了什么,并且成績也是大幅度提高,我作為他的老師真的為他的進(jìn)步而興奮,我體會(huì)到了空前的成就感!這種成就感是任何東西都代替不了的。圣經(jīng)里有這樣一段話:愛是恒久忍耐,又有恩慈;凡事包容,凡事相信,凡事盼望,凡事忍耐;愛是永不止息。我愿讓這段話成為我的座右銘,用愛陪伴孩子們成長,用愛帶給學(xué)生燦爛的生命陽光,用愛提升自己的生命價(jià)值,這就是我所追求的如果在給我一次機(jī)會(huì)去選擇職業(yè),我還會(huì)選擇做英語教師,我喜歡我的HowtobeanEnglishteacher
