He took it home.A few days later, a small opening appeared;he sat and watched the butterfly for several hours as it struggled to force its body through that little hole. Then it seemed to stop making any progress. It appeared that it had gotten as far as it could and it couldnt go any farther. Then the man decided to help the butterfly, so he took a pair of scissors and cut off the remaining bit of the cocoon. The butterfly then came out easily. But it had a swollen body and small, shriveled(萎縮的) wings. The man continued to watch the butterfly because he expected that the wings would enlarge or expand to be able to support the body. Neither happened! In fact, the butterfly spent the rest of its life crawling around with a swollen body and shriveled wings. It was never able to fly. What the man did not understand was that the restricted cocoon and the struggle required for the butterfly to get through the tiny opening were Natures way of forcing the fluid from the body of the butterfly into its wings so that it would be ready for flight once it achieved its freedom from the cocoon.Sometimes struggles are exactly what we need in our life. If we were allowed to go through our life without any obstacles, it would cripple us, and we would not be as strong as what we could have been, and we could never fly. 2.根據(jù)寫作內(nèi)容的提示,應(yīng)注意以下幾個(gè)方面:(1)概括應(yīng)包括以下要點(diǎn):A kind old man saw a butterfly out of the cocoon. The old man the remaining bit of the cocoon in order to lessen the butterflys pain. The old man found that the butterfly could never fly his help.(2)寫作的內(nèi)容應(yīng)該包括:正確表達(dá)“感受”,如“發(fā)人深省”;描述當(dāng)前父母溺愛子女的現(xiàn)象和由此造成的后果,如孩子“過(guò)度依賴父母,缺乏獨(dú)立能力”; 就“假如你是父母中的一方,你會(huì)如何磨礪自己的孩子?” (An old man cut a cocoon open in order to the pain of a butterfly out of the cocoon.) (Sometimes, struggles and obstacles in our life are for our growth. (Nowadays, many parents with only one child do they can to the childs needs.) (Keep the child well that life is never easy and that he/she should be ready to any difficulty.)5. A kind old man cut a cocoon open in order to lessen the pain of a butterfly when he saw it struggling out of the cocoon, (1)(結(jié)果卻發(fā)現(xiàn)由于他的幫助它永遠(yuǎn)不能飛了).The story sets me thinking. Our life is more or less like this. Sometimes, struggles and obstacles in our life are a must for our growth. Without these trials, we could never achieve our life goals just as the butterfly did in the story.Nowadays,(3) (由于在大多數(shù)家庭中只有一個(gè)孩子), parents do whatever they can to satisfy the childs needs and even do what should be done by himself/herself for him/her. Consequently, the child is unable to look after himself/herself without parents. Too much care from parents deprives children of chances to become strong by conquering obstacles. Just as a saying goes,“(4) (溫室里的花朵永遠(yuǎn)不能抵抗風(fēng)暴).”If I were a parent, I would first keep the child well informed that life is never easy and that he/she should be ready to face any difficulty. Besides, I would (5) (使他/她經(jīng)受生活中的艱難困苦)instead of protecting him/her from difficulties, and provide him/her with chances to fight for his/her bright future by conquering challenges.答案2.(1)strugglingcut;offbecause of3.(1)struggle out of(2)set sb. thinking(3)achieve ones life goal(4)satisfy ones needs(5)fight for4.lessen;struggling;a must;whatever;satisfy/meet;informed;face5.(1)only to find that it could never fly because of his help(2)It is these struggles and obstacles that increase our willpower and contribute to our success(3)with only one child in most families(4)Flowers from a greenhouse can never withstand a storm(5)expose him/her to the hardships in life教師備用話題微寫作根據(jù)下面的素材,用本單元所學(xué)詞匯和句式結(jié)構(gòu)翻譯下列句子。1. Adolescence is a period when we teenagers grow into adults.2. During this period, we go through some physical changes as well as psychological changes.3. For example, we often feel lonely and become confused about the changing world around us.4. We may face a lot of difficulties and challenges.5. We desire independence, and want to act like adults.6. Our parents cant tolerate our behavior which we think is normal.7. It seems that pains are more than gains, but we believe both of them make our teenage years more colourful.【聯(lián)句成篇】把以上句子聯(lián)成短文,要求銜接連貫、過(guò)渡自然?!緟⒖挤段摹緼dolescence is a period when we teenagers grow into adults.
