Low contrast would like to share their issues with others about things to a group without issue of face. High contrast would share issues in private
4、.,Saving Face,With most western countries, we dont care. Eastern countries will try to explain things for a long time to help save face for someone. But, Chinese will be more open to their feelings if you are very close to them.,The office place,Your business space In the west, people see it as mine

Be careful what you do in their space In the west, size = power In the east, inaccessibility = power Personal space Understand what level you have in each culture as it differs from each.,Ethics,Business ethics is big. Western countries believe in rules and contracts. Good can be defined. Eastern

Trust is big in both countries East: People West: Contract,Outside activities,Resturaunts Eating is essential for work. China for relationships, Western for business Location is important for China whi
7、le sitting is more important for the West Gifts Giving a gift out is for both cultures East, open after coming home West, open at that moment,Taboos,Taboo is something not acceptable in one culture but okay in another.
