1、My First Day at Senior High第一課時(shí) 一、教材分析 本課是高一英語第1模塊的第一課時(shí),內(nèi)容是一位高中新生第一天到校觀察和接觸到的人和事物以及個(gè)人的感受,內(nèi)容緊密結(jié)合學(xué)生的現(xiàn)實(shí)生活。在教學(xué)中可以根據(jù)學(xué)校,班級(jí)的情況,布置學(xué)生做自我介紹,做一個(gè)小冊(cè)子,形容自己的學(xué)校。我在教學(xué)中將淡化語言點(diǎn)和語法知識(shí)的簡(jiǎn)單傳授,采用任務(wù)型教學(xué)法和小組合作探究學(xué)習(xí)法,從而擴(kuò)大課堂的語料輸進(jìn)量及學(xué)生的語言輸出量。 二、教學(xué)目標(biāo) (一) 知識(shí)與能力目標(biāo) 1充分理解課文大意并完成所給的任務(wù)。 2學(xué)會(huì)使用閱讀策略(skimming)來閱讀和理解課文 3利用學(xué)習(xí)策略(mind-mapping)來熟悉篇

2、章結(jié)構(gòu) 4(時(shí)間答應(yīng)的情況下)能夠復(fù)述課文 (二)過程與方法 在運(yùn)用完成閱讀任務(wù)的過程中培養(yǎng)學(xué)生的觀察力、分析力、想象力和自學(xué)能力,幫助學(xué)生進(jìn)步思維能力和運(yùn)用英語的綜合能力,激發(fā)創(chuàng)造能力。 (三)情感態(tài)度與價(jià)值觀 本部分旨在培養(yǎng)學(xué)生通過閱讀手段,使師生之間,生生之間的關(guān)系更加以及加強(qiáng)學(xué)生對(duì)學(xué)校的了解和熱愛,能夠獲取有關(guān)的知識(shí)和語句來形容和描繪他們所想要先容的人或事,進(jìn)步他們的素質(zhì),培養(yǎng)閱讀能力,強(qiáng)化學(xué)生熱愛學(xué)校,尊敬師長(zhǎng),友愛同學(xué)的意識(shí)。 三、教學(xué)重點(diǎn)及難點(diǎn) 1、本堂課的教學(xué)重點(diǎn)是針對(duì)學(xué)生在高中的第一堂閱讀課對(duì)閱讀方法(skimming &scanning)的熟悉、了解,以及mind-mapp

3、ing學(xué)習(xí)策略的進(jìn)步運(yùn)用。 2、難點(diǎn)是對(duì)閱讀方法和閱讀微技能(如猜測(cè))的在閱讀過程中的正確運(yùn)用,及對(duì)課文大意的總結(jié)概括能力。 四、教學(xué)策略 1、活動(dòng)教學(xué)法: “活動(dòng)教學(xué)法”早在二十世紀(jì)七十年代末就已風(fēng)靡澳大利亞、英、美等國(guó)家。課堂教學(xué)活動(dòng)中,將活動(dòng)作為教與學(xué)的中心單位以促進(jìn)語言習(xí)得者用目的語言進(jìn)行交際。因此,設(shè)定有目的的語言使用環(huán)境,習(xí)得者必須使用已有的語言資源以滿足在設(shè)定的語境中進(jìn)行交際的需要。讓學(xué)生在課堂上真正的“活動(dòng)”起來。 2、任務(wù)型教學(xué)法: 任務(wù)型教學(xué)法是讓學(xué)生在課堂活動(dòng)中獲得知識(shí)。在教師精心設(shè)計(jì)的各種“任務(wù)”中,學(xué)生能夠不斷地獲得知識(shí)或得出結(jié)論,從注重語言本身轉(zhuǎn)變?yōu)樽⒅卣Z言習(xí)得。隨

4、著“任務(wù)”的不斷深化,整個(gè)語言學(xué)習(xí)的過程會(huì)越來越自動(dòng)化和自主化。終極獲得語言運(yùn)用的能力而不是僅僅把握現(xiàn)成的語言知識(shí)點(diǎn)。 3、交際法: 交際法教學(xué),力求使教學(xué)過程交際化,培養(yǎng)學(xué)生外語交際的真本領(lǐng)。只有實(shí)現(xiàn)英語教學(xué)的真正交際化,才能為學(xué)生的英語交流奠定扎實(shí)的基礎(chǔ),從而真正的實(shí)現(xiàn)語言的價(jià)值。 五、教學(xué)準(zhǔn)備 1、多媒體輔助:將本課所需要的圖片、文字、圖表和音樂制成CAI軟件使抽象的語言變得直觀,為學(xué)生運(yùn)用英語進(jìn)行交際創(chuàng)設(shè)情景。 2、測(cè)試性和非測(cè)試性評(píng)價(jià):本課我將各種活動(dòng)設(shè)計(jì)成小組活動(dòng)和當(dāng)堂檢測(cè)等測(cè)試性評(píng)價(jià)手段幫助老師了解學(xué)生的學(xué)習(xí)效果。同時(shí)讓學(xué)生填寫課堂自我評(píng)價(jià)表等非測(cè)試性評(píng)價(jià)手段,幫助學(xué)生學(xué)會(huì)自主學(xué)

5、習(xí),學(xué)會(huì)與人合作,培養(yǎng)創(chuàng)新意識(shí)以及具備科學(xué)的價(jià)值觀。 六、教學(xué)環(huán)節(jié): (一)課堂導(dǎo)入Ask a question “ What is your first impression of our school?” 設(shè)計(jì)意圖:交際法。利用這個(gè)題目導(dǎo)進(jìn)新課。同時(shí)老師與學(xué)生之間進(jìn)行了對(duì)學(xué)校第一印象和看法的交流。既起到了課堂熱身的作用、導(dǎo)進(jìn)了新課,又加強(qiáng)了師生和生生之間的交流。 (二)課堂講授Step1 Self-introduction (I) (some drills need to be written on the black board)My name is I am a I was born

6、on/in I graduated from In my spare time, I like/ am good at / am fond of I hope/ think/ want (II) Get the students to introduce themselves to their partners in groups of four, and then ask some volunteers to introduce their new friends to all the other students in English. Step2 Vocabulary and speak

7、ing(I) VocabularyAsk the students to tell you what subjects they learned in Junior High school and what other subjects they will learn in Senior High school, ask the students to express them in English as possible as they can, then write the words on the Bb, teach the students to pronounce the words

8、 they dont know. eg : Chinese English Mathematics Physics Chemistry Biology Politics History Geography Arts Music IT (Information Technology) PE(Physical Education) GT(General Technology) Japanese Russian French(II)Dialogue (pair-work) T: How many subjects are science subjects? Every day when we have a break between classes we may meet some old friends, you may talk about your classes , now please turn to P8 , lets learn the dialogue in Everyday English and Function . Ask the students to listen to the tape ,then to read the dialogue in pairs. (explain som

12、e difficult words and teach ask them to pronounce them by looking up them in the dictionary)Ask the students to read and analyze these sentences.1 How are you doing?2 Oh really?3 Is that right?(II) Work in pairs. Make a conversation about one of your classes . Use the conversation in activity 1 to h

Ask some of them to report and act their dialogue out.(三)課堂活動(dòng) Step1 Prediction (對(duì)課文內(nèi)容的猜測(cè))教學(xué)時(shí)間:2m According to the title of the text “My First Day at Senior High”, have Ss predict what the text talks about, and check the answer after fast reading. 設(shè)計(jì)意圖:根據(jù)標(biāo)題培養(yǎng)學(xué)生閱讀技能即對(duì)文章內(nèi)容的猜測(cè)。通過這一活動(dòng)幫助學(xué)生利用已經(jīng)把握的知識(shí)和手

14、段,預(yù)先推知和判定文章的內(nèi)容。然后通過閱讀找出作者所寫的內(nèi)容,由學(xué)生自己思考、檢查與對(duì)比,看文章的內(nèi)容與學(xué)生所給出的之間的異同點(diǎn),并分析其原因。這樣既可促進(jìn)學(xué)生的想象,也可促進(jìn)學(xué)生的閱讀。 Step2 Fast reading(泛讀)教學(xué)時(shí)間:10m 1 . 15、we do in our English class Paragraph 4 The students in our class Paragraph 5 The students attitude to Ms Shen Paragraph 6 Something about my school 設(shè)計(jì)意圖:任務(wù)型和活動(dòng)型教學(xué)法 任務(wù)1:先獨(dú)自快速限時(shí)(3minutes)閱讀,把閱讀課文作為整體來處理,檢查學(xué)生對(duì)課文中的事實(shí)的表層理解,讓學(xué)生對(duì)文章有一個(gè)了解。然后通過小組活動(dòng),交流合作。本環(huán)節(jié)難度不高,即便學(xué)困生也能在其小組成員的幫助下完成此任務(wù)。成功給人以最大的滿足,產(chǎn)生自豪感,增強(qiáng)學(xué)習(xí)毅力。更

The class is bigger and the students work hard.設(shè)計(jì)意圖:任務(wù)2 讓學(xué)生在了解每一段意之后自己嘗試給這篇文章進(jìn)行一個(gè)簡(jiǎn)短的總結(jié)和概括,鍛煉了學(xué)生提煉信息和篩選信息的能力。總結(jié)之后再看以上哪兩個(gè)是針對(duì)這篇課文更好的概述,假如學(xué)生有分歧,讓學(xué)生找出課文中的句子或片斷來證實(shí)自己的觀

18、點(diǎn)。學(xué)生在這種獨(dú)立思考和題目爭(zhēng)論中鍛煉了提出題目和解決的能力。 Step3 Careful reading(精讀)27m 1. 19、reful reading(17m) Mind Mapping After doing this, can you try to retell the text? 設(shè)計(jì)意圖:小組活動(dòng) 任務(wù)1:任務(wù)型和活動(dòng)型教學(xué)法。在快速閱讀環(huán)節(jié)對(duì)課文表層理解的基礎(chǔ)上,進(jìn)行段落內(nèi)容的理解和劃分,幫助學(xué)生在腦中形成MIND-MAP來熟悉文章的結(jié)構(gòu),理清文章的總體內(nèi)容和結(jié)構(gòu)特點(diǎn)并鍛煉了學(xué)生對(duì)細(xì)節(jié)信息尋找和概括的能力,此處對(duì)學(xué)生是有挑戰(zhàn)性的。然后同組的學(xué)生互相討論,分工合作,交流意見,得出結(jié)果。 任務(wù)2:任務(wù)型教學(xué)法。通過表格的填充,對(duì)文章有一個(gè)更為深進(jìn)的了解。完成相對(duì)信息的細(xì)節(jié)處理。學(xué)生只需對(duì)照課文就可輕松填寫表格

20、,由于此任務(wù)較輕易此處不再做小組活動(dòng)。回答題目采用搶答的方法。而且任務(wù)2之后時(shí)間答應(yīng)的情況下嘗試讓學(xué)生已看著任務(wù)2的圖示復(fù)述課文的主要內(nèi)容,讓學(xué)生能夠感覺到這種學(xué)習(xí)策略的實(shí)效性。 (四)課堂小結(jié)The teacher summary the whole class for the students and tell them what they should do to improve .(五)課堂練習(xí)一、必做題:True or False 1、Li Kang lives in the town,not far from Shijiazhuang.
