Its a waste of time arguing about her)動詞-ing形式作主語時,為了保持句子平衡,可以用it作形式主語,而動詞-ing形式則放在后面作真正的主語。如第4、5 、6 句。2

5、. Verb-ing Form as Object)觀察下列句子中動詞-ing形式的法,然后加以總結(jié)。Some people cant bear listening to the noise. Would you mind opening the window?有些動詞后只能跟動詞-ing形式作賓語,而不能跟動詞不定式作賓語。如bear和mind。有此用法的動詞還有:admit, appreciate, avoid, bear, consider, delay, deny, enjoy, escape, finish, forbid, keep, mind, mention, permit,

6、quit, risk, suggest advise, imagine, practise, miss, prevent, put off, be worth, insist on, stick to, give up, look forward to, be proud of, feel like, be good at, be sure of, think of, succeed in, have difficulty in, cant help 等等。)觀察下列句子中動詞-ing形式的用法,然后加以總結(jié)。 Lily remembered giving you the dictionary

7、 last afternoon. 有些動詞后既可跟v-ing也可跟動詞不定式作賓語,但用法和意義都有所不同。這些動詞是:remember, forget, stop, regret, try, mean等1)go on to do 接著做(另一件事)go on doing 繼續(xù)做(同一件事) 2)stop to do 停下來去做 stop doing 停止做 3 ) remember to do 記住要做; remember doing 記得曾做過4)forget to do 忘記要做;forget doing 忘了曾經(jīng)做過 5)regret to do 很遺憾抱歉地去做; regret do
